寄养家庭:急救与心肺复苏标准
First Aid & CPR Germany
Taking a child into full-time foster care (Vollzeitpflege) means giving them a safe home for a period of time. Among the requirements during the application process, many youth welfare offices ask for proof of a first-aid course.
急救要求
Full-time foster care is governed by § 33 SGB VIII and is one of the forms of parenting support. There is no uniform nationwide statute mandating a first-aid course, but as part of the suitability check many youth welfare offices (Jugendamt) and independent providers require prospective foster parents to attend a first-aid course — often 'first aid for children' — alongside a preparation seminar, a medical health certificate and an enhanced criminal-record certificate.
Suitability is checked and recognised by the responsible youth welfare office. The first-aid certificate is in addition to the suitability check and the parenting assessment, and should be kept current.
